Rabbi Joyce Siegel brings her extensive Hebrew and Judaic knowledge, teaching experience, creativity, and warmth to everything she does.
Rabbi Joyce has envisioned, developed and taught various Religious School Curricula and various Adult Education programs. She has created community wide programs, interfaith programs, and served as a consultant to Jewish Federations and synagogues. She has developed individualized programs for different communities based on their demographics and needs.
Rabbi Joyce has extensive knowledge and experience in tutoring Hebrew and Judaics in a fun and interactive way. She shares her love of Judaism and has been told her enthusiasm is contagious by families and colleagues who work with her.
In addition to one on one Hebrew and Judaic tutoring, Rabbi Joyce combines groups of students with similar goals as an affordable option for synagogues. She will work with the synagogue clergy, Religious School Directors, and educational committees to assure goals are well defined and achievable.
Rabbi Joyce officiates all Jewish lifecycle events including baby namings, bnai mitzvah, weddings, funerals, shiva minyans, provides pastoral counseling and much more. She uses her knowledge, training, creativity and sensitivity and support to assist families/couples/individuals on their Jewish journeys. She weaves a Tapestry of Jewish life through all she does.
Rabbi Joyce received her Certification in Jewish Family Education and her Masters in Jewish Education from Hebrew College. Her Rabbinic ordination is from the Rabbinical Academy, Mesifta Adas Wolkowisk. She is a graduate of the Mandel Teacher Educators Institute (MTEI) a two year program for professional development. She is an active participant and presenter at CAJE and NewCAJE.
Rabbi Joyce has studied Pre-marital marriage counseling for couples of all backgrounds at Mayyim Hayyim in Newton MA. She has taught the Grandparents Circle for Jewish grandparents and interfaith families. She has held positions as a Jewish educator, teacher, Education Director, Family Educator, Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation tutor, private Hebrew and Judaic tutoring, Adult Education community program Director as well as taught Adult Education Hebrew classes. Rabbi Joyce is currently the Rabbi for Brookdale Senior Living.
She loves to spend time with her husband, family and friends. Rabbi Joyce is a volunteer Chaplain for the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.
